Crural shape correction

The crural shape correction is an operation aimed at correcting your crural contours, creating their adequate size and filling the posttraumatic soft tissue defects with the use of implants.

The crural implants are made of silicone and are simultaneously soft and very rigid. We use only variously sized and anatomically shaped implants with a smooth or rough texture, this enabling us to individualize an approach to every patient.

The desire to have beautiful crura is inherent both in women and men. Many of them do sports or bodybuilding to exhaustion trying to develop and enhance body muscles, however, the crural muscles often grow less than other leg muscles, and legs keep unbeautiful. With an advent of implants simulating sural muscles (musculi gastrocnemius), the problem of aesthetic disparity between crura and the rest of body parts has been solved. Now there is no need to do bodybuilding in order to have beautiful and slender legs, since implants not only give the bigger size to crura but also visually correct their shape in case of bony deviation.

Indications to crural correction are:

• Inadequate volume of sural muscles;
• Hypotrophy of sural muscles following previous diseases;
• Posttraumatic deformities.

• the duration of operation is from 30 minutes to 1,5 hours
• your stay at the clinic will be no longer than a day
• during 3 weeks after operation you will have to wear special compressive stockings
• on the 2nd postoperative day you may take a shower
• physical exercise is not recommended during 1-2 weeks
• approximately in 2-3 weeks you will be able to resume your usual life
• sutures are removed on the 10th day postoperatively
• you are not recommended to attend sauna, solarium or fitness centers during 1-2 months
• an ultimate result of operation may be assessed in 3-4 months
